Closing a strategy

TL;DR

  • Click Close Strategy and confirm.
  • You sign one withdrawal transaction per chain that holds positions. Remote-chain withdrawals bridge back via CCTP in the same transaction.
  • Same-chain closes settle in a block. Cross-chain closes wait on Circle's Iris attestation; see Cross-chain bridging for timing.
  • Funds land in your wallet's USDC balance on the strategy's source chain.
  • The closed strategy stays in your dashboard history with its final value and realized APY.

1. Click Close Strategy

Open the strategy's management panel and click Close Strategy. A confirmation window shows the amount being withdrawn and, for multi-chain closes, the number of transactions and estimated bridging time. (A strategy that was never funded shows Delete instead and is removed permanently.)

2. Confirm and sign

Sign one transaction per chain that holds positions. If a vault share allowance was revoked, the flow prompts you to re-approve it first. If you abandon a multi-chain close partway, the strategy stays in Closing and a Continue Close button resumes from the remaining chains.

3. Withdrawal in progress

Same-chain positions redeem to USDC in one call. Remote-chain positions redeem locally and burn the USDC back to your source chain via Circle's CCTP v2; the minted USDC goes straight to your wallet. You are the only signer for the close.

Cross-chain close takes longer

A cross-chain close cannot finish until CCTP attestation completes for each remote chain. The strategy shows Closing during this window. See Cross-chain bridging for timing.

Positions tagged Holding are skipped

A position whose vault lacks the withdrawable liquidity to redeem it is excluded from the close. Its vault shares stay in your wallet; redeem them directly from the vault once liquidity returns. A warning lists any such positions before you confirm.

4. Funds in wallet

When the last position (and the last bridge, if any) confirms, the strategy becomes Closed and your USDC reflects the final value plus accrued yield.

A closed strategy stays in your dashboard history. To start fresh, create a new strategy.
