Supported wallets
For the smoothest setup, use MetaMask, Coinbase Wallet, or a Safe multi-sig. When the wallet supports transaction batching on the chain in use, per-vault approvals go out in groups of up to ten per transaction instead of one prompt per vault. When it doesn't, Earn automatically falls back to one approval per vault.
| Wallet | Per-vault approvals | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| MetaMask | Batched, up to 10 per transaction | Most users |
| Coinbase Wallet | Batched, up to 10 per transaction | Mobile and the Base ecosystem |
| Safe multi-sig | Queued transactions of up to 10 approvals each; co-signers approve | Treasuries, DAOs, shared accounts |
| Other wallets via WalletConnect (Rabby, Trust Wallet, Frame, etc.) | One approval per vault, signed individually | Power users with existing setups |
The strategy authorization, Terms of Service, USDC allowance, and deposit are separate prompts regardless of wallet type. Batching only affects step 4 (per-vault approvals). A chain with more than ten approvals produces a couple of batched prompts, and a multi-chain vault set adds a network-switch prompt per chain.
Safe multi-sig
For the smoothest Safe experience, load Earn as a custom app from app.safe.global; Earn auto-connects to the Safe and everything stays inside the Safe UI you already use. You can also connect a Safe through the WalletConnect option in the wallet picker.
Each on-chain step is proposed into the Safe queue; co-signers approve in the Safe UI; the owner who executes pays the gas. On multi-owner Safes, even the message signatures (strategy authorization, Terms of Service) route through the queue as signed-message transactions, so they also need co-signers. Safe authorization windows last 24 hours (versus 5 minutes for regular wallets) so co-signers have time to approve.
